VOLUNTEERS WANTED TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED…
Please come along in your sports gear and stand on our ‘Olympic’ plinth at Halo Leisure Centre, Leominster on Saturday September 24th anytime between 12.30-3pm.

We are setting up a photo studio in the sports hall and need volunteers regardless of size, age and sporting ability. Just turn up on the day and give us a couple of minutes of your time.

We will direct you into the pose of an Olympian statue like the ones on this poster. We promise only to use a photo you like!

The project, by photographers Kate Owens and Becky Matthews is a response to the Olympics in 2012 and celebrates individual sport and fitness.

Photos from the project will be exhibited as part of Hereford Photography Festival 2011.

We’re on the way to Wembley…

London’s Trafalgar Square will be the venue today for a day of sporting demonstrations to celebrate next year’s Paralympic Games.

International Paralympic Day will allow the public to watch sports like blind football, power-lifting, wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball.

My environmental portraits of each B1 player in the England Football squad for the Hereford Photography Festival are heading to Wembley for London 2012. The intention of the work was to give an understanding of the players lives beyond football and their disability.

Professional Photographer based in Herefordshire.

Photo diary of my day to day work. Helping me keep sane since moving to a field in the middle of nowhere.

Feel free to say hello...
